The Lord Jesus calls for Eucharistic Adoration to obtain the great gift of peace - Saturday, April 11, 2026 - From the Site:Messaggi del Sacro Cuore di Gesù
Tonight at Castel Gandolfo, Pope Leo XIV responded to the criticism he has received from Donald Trump: "From the first moment, I have spoken of peace. The mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel and to promote peace. If anyone wants to criticise me for doing so, they should do so truthfully. The Church has spoken out against nuclear weapons for years, so there is no doubt about that."
Leo's brief comments to the press this evening -- “I have already spoken from the first moment ‘peace be with you.’ The mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel, to preach peace. If anyone wants to criticize me for proclaiming the Gospel, let them do so truthfully. The Church has spoken out against all nuclear weapons for years, so there is no doubt about that”
Romania’s Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan is applauded after delivering his speech before a no-confidence vote on his cabinet during a plenary session of the Parliament in Bucharest, Screengrab youtube Romania’s parliament has voted to oust pro-EU Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan in a no-confidence motion, deepening political turmoil in the European Union and NATO member state bordering Ukraine. The motion, initiated jointly by the left-wing Social Democrats (PSD) and the right-wing Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR), received 281 votes in the 464-seat parliament. Bolojan’s liberal National Liberal Party (PNL) and its Save Romania Union (USR) allies were present but did not vote. The PSD, Romania’s biggest party, quit the government last month before teaming up with the AUR to file the motion. The decision drew sharp criticism that the Social Democrats were legitimising a surging right-wing force. “By joining with the AUR, the PSD has turned it into a significant political player, from …
Mon May 4, 2026 - 7:06 am EDTMon May 4, 2026 - 11:41 am EDT (LifeSiteNews) — Leo XIV has publicly rejected the teaching of the Catholic Church that capital punishment is legitimate under certain conditions. This teaching, having been proposed for our belief by the universal and ordinary magisterium, must be believed by all Catholics. The denial of this doctrine constitutes heresy. The implications of Leo XIV’s public profession of heresy deserve careful consideration. Leo XIV’s position on capital punishment On April 24, in a video address commemorating the 15th anniversary of the abolition of the death penalty in Illinois, Leo XIV said: The Church teaches that “the death penalty is inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person.” The words within speech marks are from the text on capital punishment inserted into the Catechism of the Catholic Church in 2018 by Francis. Speaking to journalists in a plane interview on April 27, Leo XIV reiterated …
Leo XIV publicly professed heresy both before and after his putative election by openly repudiating a doctrine proposed for our belief by the ordinary and universal magisterium of the Church.
On 29 April, the Canadian homosexual activist Jake Tucker, 39, was found guilty of multiple sex-trafficking and assault-related charges following a trial in Barrie, Ontario. Tucker is in a homosexual "marriage" and produced/bought a baby girl via surrogacy. In the past, he has organised homosexual events, drag nights, flag raising, and other local activist initiatives. According to prosecutors, Tucker recruited, controlled and exploited two women for several years, arranging their prostitution and taking a share of the profits. He also used coercion, violence and drugs to maintain control. The case began in 2022, when a woman reported to the police that Tucker had trafficked her for years. Investigators later identified a second alleged victim who made similar claims. After the verdict, Tucker denied the allegations and said he plans to appeal, arguing that the women were lying and that the police investigation was flawed. He is expected to return to court for sentencing and could face …Дагы

How is it possible that Francesco Capozza is still accredited to the Holy See Press Office, given that he is not a journalist on the professional register and given that he is facing pending criminal proceedings for offences of particular gravity? How is it possible that someone who insults priests by branding them as homosexuals can hold accreditation at the Pope's Press Office? It is a question which, leaving aside the parties' respective positions, goes directly to the responsibility of those who manage Vatican accreditations - Paolo Ruffini, Andrea Tornielli and Matteo Bruni - and to the overall credibility of the Vatican press corps...
Il Tempo's Vatican correspondent Francesco … [...] the Vatican reporter is facing extremely serious criminal proceedings. The Rome Public Prosecutor's Office has applied to commit him for trial on charges of extortion, harassment and stalking of a former partner. According to the prosecution case, supported by chat logs and audio recordings on file, Capozza is alleged to have extorted money from his former partner by threatening to out him publicly as gay. Capozza was questioned on 23 April 2026. The case, which has been on foot for some time, has been subject to significant delays because - as the file shows - for over a year the defendant was recorded as "untraceable" by the police. The presumption of innocence until final judgment naturally applies. A second legal front has opened in Civitavecchia, the town where Capozza lives and which he openly flags up on his social media profiles. Two of his neighbours have reported him to the police for extremely serious conduct: he is …Дагы

Thursday, May 1st, 1913 — Newt Lee Recounts His Account in the Morning Session Thursday, May 1, 1913 Newt Lee Takes the Stand: Night Watchman's Testimony Raises New Questions in Phagan Murder Case A troubling question emerged from Wednesday's coroner's inquest: was Mary Phagan's killer still hiding in the basement of the National Pencil Company when night watchman Newt Lee descended the stairs and discovered her body in the early hours of Sunday morning? The question gained traction following Lee's testimony, which stood in direct conflict with that of every police officer who had visited the scene. Lee maintained that he found the body lying face up, with the head toward the wall. The officers, however, were uniform in their account that the body was face down, head pointing toward the front of the building. Despite aggressive cross-examination, Lee did not waver. His composure and consistency left many observers with the impression that the killer may indeed have been lurking in the …Дагы
Today, Synod.va published the final report from Study Group 9 on theological criteria and synodal methodologies for discerning doctrinal, pastoral, and ethical questions. It is de facto on homosexuality. The report rejects the term “controversial” and says such matters should be treated as “emerging” issues (page 6). Repeatedly, it speaks of an alleged “paradigm shift” in how the Church interprets the teaching: “The commitment to practising the synodal nature of the Church implies the implementation of a ‘paradigm shift.’” (page 8) The final report even analogizes present ecclesial disputes to the Jerusalem Council’s overturning of circumcision requirements. It demands that synodal outcomes should not be predetermined by “pre-established formulas.” And: “The Church’s mission is not a matter of abstractly proclaiming and deductively applying principles...” (page 9) The final report invents “the stability of a healthy affective relationship” in homosexual contexts as a positive …Дагы
