I am watching this movie again. What I love about goya productions is that they use the same actors in their films. The woman who played in Light of Solada is also in this movie. US Bishop prohibits celebration facing the Lord (ad orientem). On October 2, Bishop Jeffrey Walsh, 60, of Gaylord, Michigan, issued a decree restricting the celebration of the Mass towards the Lord. It takes effect on October 15. Under the new rules, all Sunday and holy day Masses must be read - like a talk or show - facing the people. On weekdays, no more than two Masses per parish may be celebrated ad orientem, and only after consultation with the parish council and appropriate catechesis. Weddings, funerals, and other Masses with congregations must also be celebrated facing the people. Masses according to the 1962 Missal are exempt. FSSPX to Continue Lourdes Pilgrimage Despite Bishop’s Restrictions The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (SSPX) has announced that it will continue its annual pilgrimage to Lourdes. Following the episcopal consecrations on July 1 in Ecône, Bishop Jean-Marc Micas of Tarbes and Lourdes withdrew permission for the SSPX to celebrate public Masses, administer sacraments, or organize public prayers at Lourdes. Gonzague Peignot, superior of the FSSPX in France, announced that the Fraternity intends to continue coming to Lourdes every year, “Our Lady does not deserve to be abandoned despite the obstacles,” he said.
