Synod.va published on May 5 the final report of Study Group number 7 on the selection of bishops: “In the selection of a bishop, it is necessary to consider, among other qualities, his ‘synodal competencies’.” (page 3) At least, the document also mentions Catholic criteria: “Among the qualities sought in a bishop are moral integrity, doctrinal orthodoxy, pastoral sensitivity, leadership ability, and the capacity to administer the Church’s goods.” (page 3) The main idea of the report is expanding lay influence in bishop selection: “The cathedral chapter… finance council… lay council… youth and the poor should also be convened.” (page 4) The report proposes that, when a diocese is vacant, a committee be established to work with the Apostolic Nuncio, consisting of priests, consecrated religious, and laypersons. (page 5) Informants should include women, youth, academics, ecclesial movement members, the poor, marginalized persons, and representatives of Indigenous or minority communities. …Lokwengentiwe
Acts 15:7-21 “We ought to stop troubling the Gentiles who turn to God.” When 99% of people walk in front of churches, it would be good to listen to them, then reveal to them the beauty of God within them. John 15:9-11 “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.” Jesus is clear. The perfect, childlike joy is already within us. Let us live in the present, in the Love of God. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.
Today, Synod.va published the final report from Study Group 9 on theological criteria and synodal methodologies for discerning doctrinal, pastoral, and ethical questions. It is de facto on homosexuality. The report rejects the term “controversial” and says such matters should be treated as “emerging” issues (page 6). Repeatedly, it speaks of an alleged “paradigm shift” in how the Church interprets the teaching: “The commitment to practising the synodal nature of the Church implies the implementation of a ‘paradigm shift.’” (page 8) The final report even analogizes present ecclesial disputes to the Jerusalem Council’s overturning of circumcision requirements. It demands that synodal outcomes should not be predetermined by “pre-established formulas.” And: “The Church’s mission is not a matter of abstractly proclaiming and deductively applying principles...” (page 9) The final report invents “the stability of a healthy affective relationship” in homosexual contexts as a positive …Lokwengentiwe
On 29 April, the Canadian homosexual activist Jake Tucker, 39, was found guilty of multiple sex-trafficking and assault-related charges following a trial in Barrie, Ontario. Tucker is in a homosexual "marriage" and produced/bought a baby girl via surrogacy. In the past, he has organised homosexual events, drag nights, flag raising, and other local activist initiatives. According to prosecutors, Tucker recruited, controlled and exploited two women for several years, arranging their prostitution and taking a share of the profits. He also used coercion, violence and drugs to maintain control. The case began in 2022, when a woman reported to the police that Tucker had trafficked her for years. Investigators later identified a second alleged victim who made similar claims. After the verdict, Tucker denied the allegations and said he plans to appeal, arguing that the women were lying and that the police investigation was flawed. He is expected to return to court for sentencing and could face …Lokwengentiwe
Rev Gerardo Saco resigned from his appointment as Bishop of the Diocese of Tagbilaran in the Philippines. Pope Leo XIV appointed Rev. Saco on 25 March 2026, with the episcopal ordination scheduled for 26 May. On 5 May, Cebu Archbishop Alberto Uy announced that Leo XIV had accepted Rev Saco’s resignation. Rev Saco suddenly discovered a “change of heart” and “human limitations and inadequacies”. However, it is more likely that there is an undisclosed issue behind this decision. Choosing Bishops with Hidden Scandals Declining after papal appointment and before ordination used to be very rare in the Church. It has increased in the past decade as a side effect of deliberately appointing compromised or unsuitable candidates. In Argentina alone, Francis appointed three priests as bishops who then resigned from the episcopal consecration weeks later. Bishop Pascalis Syukur, who was reportedly in a romantic relationship with a woman and had fathered two children, accepted Pope Francis’s …Lokwengentiwe
This was posted with a different link yesterday, but now it seems to have disappeared - as so much does. It's wonderful, so I wanted to post again with a simple-to-access YouTube link.

@Everyday for Life Canada The Israeli State is given a pass for "nukes" since it is the Zionist/Fascist pivot of the "Errors of Russia." Everyone of the Americans who voted for Trump and MAGA voted for this warmongering! Many American Catholics too! They are now getting what they voted for! Since the lust for violence goes far beyond the Zionist/Fascist/Bolshevik pivot it will not stop until after Russia is consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary and Her Triumph occurs. Our Lady said, "many nations will be annihilated." We were warned! I voted for Our Lady of Fatima, not for this unholy alliance. And cui bono? Obviously the Russia/Sino/Islam faction of the NWO. East vs West baby!

05.05.2026 PRESIDENT TRUMP ALLOWS THE US BISHOPS (USCCB) TO INTERPRET VATICAN COUNCIL II IRRAITONALLY, DISHONESTLY AND POLITICALLY An announcement is needed from President Trump’s office, asking that the President of Italy and the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Education interpret Vatican Council II rationally. Pope Leo also must announce that LG 8, 14, 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc refer to invisible and hypothetical cases which cannot make the Council a break with Tradition. President Trump could announce that LG 8, 14, 16, UR 3, NA2, and GS 22 refer to invisible cases. This is common sense. Why does President Trump allow the US bishops (USCCB) to interpret Vatican Council II irrationally, dishonestly and politically? The pope is liberal like the Left. But Vatican Council II is really traditional on faith and morals. The USCCB rejects traditional faith and morals in the name of Vatican Council II interpreted dishonestly. When they are irrational and not rational they are aligned with …Lokwengentiwe
