Today, Synod.va published the final report from Study Group 9 on theological criteria and synodal methodologies for discerning doctrinal, pastoral, and ethical questions. It is de facto on homosexuality. The report rejects the term “controversial” and says such matters should be treated as “emerging” issues (page 6). Repeatedly, it speaks of an alleged “paradigm shift” in how the Church interprets the teaching: “The commitment to practising the synodal nature of the Church implies the implementation of a ‘paradigm shift.’” (page 8) The final report even analogizes present ecclesial disputes to the Jerusalem Council’s overturning of circumcision requirements. It demands that synodal outcomes should not be predetermined by “pre-established formulas.” And: “The Church’s mission is not a matter of abstractly proclaiming and deductively applying principles...” (page 9) The final report invents “the stability of a healthy affective relationship” in homosexual contexts as a positive …Yana
Acts 15:7-21 “We ought to stop troubling the Gentiles who turn to God.” When 99% of people walk in front of churches, it would be good to listen to them, then reveal to them the beauty of God within them. John 15:9-11 “I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and your joy may be complete.” Jesus is clear. The perfect, childlike joy is already within us. Let us live in the present, in the Love of God. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.
On 29 April, the Canadian homosexual activist Jake Tucker, 39, was found guilty of multiple sex-trafficking and assault-related charges following a trial in Barrie, Ontario. Tucker is in a homosexual "marriage" and produced/bought a baby girl via surrogacy. In the past, he has organised homosexual events, drag nights, flag raising, and other local activist initiatives. According to prosecutors, Tucker recruited, controlled and exploited two women for several years, arranging their prostitution and taking a share of the profits. He also used coercion, violence and drugs to maintain control. The case began in 2022, when a woman reported to the police that Tucker had trafficked her for years. Investigators later identified a second alleged victim who made similar claims. After the verdict, Tucker denied the allegations and said he plans to appeal, arguing that the women were lying and that the police investigation was flawed. He is expected to return to court for sentencing and could face …Yana
Rev Gerardo Saco resigned from his appointment as Bishop of the Diocese of Tagbilaran in the Philippines. Pope Leo XIV appointed Rev. Saco on 25 March 2026, with the episcopal ordination scheduled for 26 May. On 5 May, Cebu Archbishop Alberto Uy announced that Leo XIV had accepted Rev Saco’s resignation. Rev Saco suddenly discovered a “change of heart” and “human limitations and inadequacies”. However, it is more likely that there is an undisclosed issue behind this decision. Choosing Bishops with Hidden Scandals Declining after papal appointment and before ordination used to be very rare in the Church. It has increased in the past decade as a side effect of deliberately appointing compromised or unsuitable candidates. In Argentina alone, Francis appointed three priests as bishops who then resigned from the episcopal consecration weeks later. Bishop Pascalis Syukur, who was reportedly in a romantic relationship with a woman and had fathered two children, accepted Pope Francis’s …Yana
This was posted with a different link yesterday, but now it seems to have disappeared - as so much does. It's wonderful, so I wanted to post again with a simple-to-access YouTube link.
Saint of the Day: May 6th - Saint John Before the Latin Gate. Butler'sLivesoftheSaints A.D. 95. When the two sons of Zebedee, James and John, strangers as yet to the mystery of the cross and the nature of Christ’s kingdom, had, by their mother Salome, besought our Lord to allot them the two first places in his kingdom, (implied by sitting at his right and left-hand,) he asked them whether they were disposed to drink of his cup, or, in other words, to suffer with him, in which case they should not fail to be considered in proportion to their pains and fidelity. The two disciples answered boldly in the affirmative, assuring their divine Master that they were ready to undergo anything for his sake. Our Lord, thereupon, foretold them that their sincerity should be brought to the trial, and that they should both be partakers of his cup of sufferings, and undergo bitter things for the honour and confirmation of the Christian religion. This was literally fulfilled in Saint James, on his being …Yana

By Alison Bevege https://lettersfromaustralia.substack.com/p/australia-sues-covid-vax-class-action Thousands of covid vaccine-injured Australians have been given new strength today after the Federal Court of Australia discussed dates for their class action to proceed. It has been a long road for the bereaved. They were pushed aside by the government at every turn, and they struggled with repeated submissions in their attempts to get justice through the courts since April 2023. In April last year, Justice Anna Katzmann gave their crowd-funded class action one last chance to overhaul its pleadings with a new legal team. Dominic Villa SC Queensland GP Dr Melissa McCann re-invigorated the case with Dominic Villa SC who represented the injured at their case management hearing in Federal Court April 24 before Justice Nicholas Owens. The New Chambers barrister is the leading Sydney silk who helped Queensland police and ambulance staff challenge the covid vaccine mandates in 2022, as reported …

This war did not end under Trump. In fact increased. With staged events like in Alaska, the "confessional" image of Zelenski meeting with Trump at the Vatican, and staged assassinations, New wars added. Genocides increased. Now a Data Center under the White House Ballroom coming. Pity the once Republic.

From DA: "I am a practicing catholic. And I need to say something that's going to make a lot of people uncomfortable. Nigeria, the Sahel, India, Syria, Bangladesh, Pakistan, hundreds of Christians have been murdered this year alone. Churches burned to the ground, pastors kidnapped and killed. Communities that have practiced their faith for centuries are being wiped out. Pope Leo XIV has said almost nothing. NO named condemnations, NO emergency visits, NO breaking of protocol, just quiet platitudes about dialogue and peace - directed at nobody in particular. BUT the week Trump escalated the Iran war? Leo flew across continents, gave media interviews, posted viral messages and had three Cardinals appear on 60 minutes in what felt like a coordinated response. Bishop Strickland was removed for defending the Church doctrine. Bishop Fernández in Puerto Rico was removed for defending religious exemptions that the cathechism itself supports. During Covid, goverments padlocked churches across …Yana
